In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Deli Department, ensuring efficient and accurate operation of the point of sale equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, packaging, and merchandising of products, adhering to department standards and safe food handling practices.
  • Operate the point of sale equipment accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Deli Manager and other team members to achieve department goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in retail is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
