Pizza 73 Food Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza 73. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory and ordering systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing insights for business improvement.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
