Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Services Cooperative Ambassador to join our team at Desjardins. This is a temporary position of indeterminate duration (On call), working full-time on site.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to members and clients, ensuring they feel welcome and supported throughout their financial journey. This includes offering personalized solutions, promoting the organization's cooperative values, and advocating for the use of digital solutions.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services cooperatives and their role in empowering individuals and communities. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support members and clients by educating them about existing applications and tools that can help them manage their finances independently.
  • Contribute to business development and maintain relationships through exceptional service delivery and activities.
  • Assist members and clients who have encountered fraud or irregularities, and ensure they receive appropriate support.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest standards, products, and services in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with security and risk management standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma in a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Knowledge of all counter and convenience products and services.
  • Knowledge of operating procedures related to convenience products and services and automated transactions.
  • Communicates effectively, Situational adaptability, Tech savvy.
What You'll Bring:

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of Desjardins.
