Job Title: Senior Project Controller

Johnson Service Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Controller to oversee financial and project controls for a large-scale solar energy project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the project's success from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Financial Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Monitor project costs and financial performance, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
  • Cost Control and Monitoring: Implement cost control processes to track project expenditures. Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Schedule Management: Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules. Monitor project progress and milestones, ensuring timely completion of project phases.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, developing risk mitigation plans. Monitor risk factors and ensure proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including financial records, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a liaison between project management, finance, and other project stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project control, financial management, or a related role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong proficiency in project management software and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
