Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Martensville. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
    • Establish work schedules
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members
  • Employee Support
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for staff members
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
