We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Specialist to join our team at Brandt in Stoney Creek, Ontario. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction and forestry-based equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the working condition of heavy-duty equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs efficiently.
- Use secondary materials and equipment safely and effectively.
- Dismantle, repair, and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
- Operate hoisting devices to position machinery and parts during assembly, installation, and/or repair activities.
- Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment.
- Prior experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset.
- Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred.
- Experience with electrical diagnosis/troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems considered an asset.
- A competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
