Job Description for Electrical Technician

Able Electrical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, including underground wiring and cables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including underground wiring and cables
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand electrical system designs
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults to ensure electrical system integrity
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical work
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems
  • Ability to test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults
Working Conditions

The Electrical Technician will work in a fast-paced electrical environment, with regular exposure to electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
