Job Title: Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Athwal Electrical Corporation. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Splice, join and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Work Environment:

As an Electrical Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical work
