Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Store Manager (FSM) in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the store.
- Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive customer traffic, and positively impact store profitability.
- Work with the Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom.
- Help manage labour scheduling and leverage Work Force Management (WFM) to maximize labour productivity.
- Assist with hiring in conjunction with the FSM, hires and/or supports hiring for all departments, excluding Pharmacy.
- Plan, prepare, and execute Inventory Management.
- Use judgment and decision-making skills to control expenses.
- Develop and maintain efficient time management skills.
- Apply effective organization and planning skills.
- Previous retail management experience is required.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive the business, lead by example, and support corporate programs.
- Work effectively with the management team.
