Job Summary:

The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on company vehicles and heavy equipment, as well as troubleshooting issues as they arise. This is a full-time position based out of our shop in the Port Perry area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on company CVOR vehicles to industry standards, including oil changes, wheel nut torquing, tire replacement, and required maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot CVOR vehicle issues and complete minor repairs as required, working with the Fleet Supervisor to prioritize and schedule repairs.
  • Complete documentation on all work performed and completed as required.
  • Order vehicle parts and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure timely execution of all scheduled work.

Requirements:

  • Licensed technician (310T)
  • CVOR knowledge with previous work experience in the automotive or equipment service industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive mechanics and heavy equipment, including HDD, Vac truck, and Line Truck.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of hydraulics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Post-secondary education or qualifications desirable.
  • Valid G Driver's License required.
