We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at MCA Dental Group.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing dental hygiene treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring exceptional patient oral health outcomes. Our office boasts a unique blend of old and new, creating a welcoming environment that prioritizes both patient comfort and health.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor, allowing them to effectively collaborate with colleagues during downtime and provide outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilizing best practices for infection control while processing instruments and treatment rooms
  • Conducting medical health history screenings and updates
  • Performing baseline and routine assessments, including full mouth charting, probing, and oral cancer screening
  • Radiographs and impressions as prescribed by the Dentist, intraoral photos
  • Identifying conditions and oral diseases such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
  • Dental Hygiene treatment planning, including patient-specific preventive dental care (scaling, prophy, fluoride etc.)
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene instruction, plaque control instructions, and postoperative instructions as required
  • Maintaining accurate documentation/charting
  • Identifying gaps in clinical schedules and assisting with scheduling, such as booking preventive recall appointments and following up on outstanding treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene
  • Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO
  • Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
  • A friendly personality who works collaboratively with a team

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
