Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at VEP Mechanical Ltd. As an apprentice metalworker, you will be responsible for working with sheet metal to create various products and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces
  • Operate plasma cutters
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
