The Equipment Maintenance Specialist is a critical role within our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the optimal performance of customer equipment.

This position involves proactively recording service requests, efficiently servicing equipment, and maintaining open communication with customers regarding maintenance or concerns.

$65,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on company product lines and competitor equipment.
  • Complete customer service calls and repairs as scheduled.
  • Prepare new equipment for installation and in-service.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and profiles.
  • Prepare and complete customer work orders, warranty claims, and parts orders.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, sales staff, and management.
  • Solve complex mechanical and electrical problems using electronic and paper service manuals and manufacturers' technical support personnel.
  • Cultivate key customer relationships to drive future growth potential.

Requirements:

  • A background in mechanics, electronics, or automotive repair.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow-through and follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in situations involving change and competing demands.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handles confidential and time-sensitive information with discretion.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

This role may require travel and overtime. A successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical/electrical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
