Adsorption Process Development Specialist

About the Role:
Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality. We are seeking a highly skilled Adsorption Process Development Specialist to join our dynamic process simulation team.
As a key member of our R&D department, you will bridge test and dynamic simulation activities, focusing on running dynamic simulation and validating inputs through experiments to develop new adsorption processes for optimization and scale-up. This requires excellence knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals and gas adsorption phenomena.
You will work closely with our Material Development, Characterization & Process Testing team to identify the required characterization and process test data for dynamic process simulation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new adsorption processes for optimization & scale-up through dynamic modeling and testing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the design of experiments, performance validation, and scale-up activities.
- Run dynamic process modeling cases and design relevant tests for validation as required.
- Contribute to TSA cycle design brainstorming sessions.
- Stay abreast of all new relevant technological development in the field and provide competitive assessment.
