We are seeking an Industrial Process Operations Specialist to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite and remote monitoring of tests conducted in Process Demonstration Units (PDU) and Pilot Plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor systems, perform inspections, update logbooks, and inform engineers or management of any issues.
  • Analyze and produce essential data for Svante's technology development.
  • Safely operate the PDU test unit, including maintaining instruments and equipment, process tuning, troubleshooting, and performing corrective actions.
  • Perform lab sampling (condensate, boiling feed water) and analysis.
  • Take action monitoring plant data such as pressure, flow rate, temperature, and composition.
  • Complete daily and weekly reports and other reporting requirements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Diploma with a mechanical or chemical process background.
  • - years of experience in operating a plant or pilot plant.
  • Mechanically inclined and hands-on experience with equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with instrumentation and process control functionality.
  • Hands-on experience working with valves, stationary and rotary process equipment (heat exchanger, G-L separator, humidifier, filters, pump, vacuum pumps, blowers).
  • Familiarity with boiler operation and daily inspection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating Gas Adsorption and Separation Processes (TSA, PSA, VPSA).

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
