Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Municipal Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of large-scale municipal projects, including site development, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring the quality and technical accuracy of drawings, specifications, reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate multiple design and construction projects, including scheduling, reporting, and uploading project deliverables.
- Manage project financial tracking and record keeping, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit purchase order requests, work plans, invoices, and sub-consultant purchase orders.
- Implement and maintain established document processing control systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in civil engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience leading large municipal projects, including site development, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and/or watermain construction.
- P.Eng required. PMP certification is beneficial.
- Demonstrated design and coordination experience.
- CAD knowledge required.
- Knowledge of scheduling software (MS Project) required.
