We are seeking a reliable and organized Household Assistant to join our team at Farhad Zoghi. As a Household Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's home.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Household Management: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, provide support with housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, work in employer's/client's home, urban area.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, honesty.
Work Terms:
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
