About the Role

The Regional Reliability Excellence Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the globally established asset management framework, encompassing all aspects of Reliability Excellence (REX) in North America. This includes managing the deployment of quality and continuous improvement of all maintenance functional processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of the Global AM CoE Standard REX program and process in North America, covering all aspects of Operating & Maintenance Strategies, Work Management, Materials Management, Reliability Management, and Location-specific focus areas.
  • Ensure the quality deployment and continuous improvement of all maintenance functional processes and the outcomes these business outcomes processes are designed to deliver.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for all key R&M roles within the organization, focusing on asset management, maintenance, and reliability excellence.
  • Act as the custodian of and optimize the safety, performance, productivity, and total cost impacts of our Reliability Excellence program across the region through the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies, systems, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development and deployment of quality asset and equipment strategies and improvement processes to ensure the REX fundamentals are effectively locked in place, the strategies are delivering their intended business outcomes, and that they are being continuously improved.
  • Provide input into all organizational systems, projects, and restructures as required, focusing on asset management, maintenance, and reliability excellence.
  • Develop effective and visual tools for undertaking and tracking auditing and coaching within locations to ensure services being delivered are effective, meet standards, and have a high-quality assurance aspect.
  • Work with the regional hub director to deliver and support the Asset Management fundamentals and improvement program initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical) and Post-Grad Degree: Masters/Doctorate in Engineering, Management, or related area is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience responsible for Maintenance/Reliability practice and leadership in Operations/Line Roles.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Senior Maintenance or Operations Leadership and Management role within heavy Industry (Casting/Smelting experience highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated operations, engineering, and maintenance expertise covering both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
  • Demonstrated asset management expertise in asset integrity, software and applications, materials management, organizational structures, and related areas.
  • Experience in developing organizational and site-level maintenance strategies/frameworks and roadmaps.
  • Willing to travel within region to all locations. Some additional travel outside of the Region to participate in Global Conferences and Asset Management related activities.
  • Bilingual. English & French language fluency as you will need to engage with stakeholders across North America.
