Job Title: Shop Clerk

At Solotech, we're looking for a skilled Shop Clerk to join our team. As a global leader in live productions, systems integration, and virtual technology, we're passionate about delivering spectacular experiences worldwide.

Your Role:

As a Shop Clerk, you'll be responsible for preparing rented equipment and putting them back in inventory in the designated space. You'll work closely with the Shop Technician 2 or 3 to prepare basic orders, scan them, and ensure all required accessories are included.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment for rental and ensure all necessary accessories are included.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Clean and inspect equipment to maintain high standards.
  • Upgrade equipment as needed, including painting and cleaning.
  • Follow company and industry quality and preparation standards.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • AEC or DEC in a relevant audiovisual field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an audiovisual equipment workshop or on events.
  • Able to lift heavy loads.
  • Flexible working schedule.
  • Valid forklift driver's license (an asset).
  • Basic English language skills (oral and written).
  • Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
  • Teamwork-oriented and cooperative spirit.
