About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audiovisual Senior Service Technician to join our team at Solotech. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technicians' schedules, identifying and investigating requests/problems on customers' audiovisual equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Listen and understand the needs of employees and customers, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Manage technicians' schedules, including days off and vacations, to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Present solutions to technicians and employees, promoting effective collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Verify work done in the ticketing tool and ensure accuracy, updating customer and internal documentation as needed.
  • Ensure follow-up after service calls, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop strong business relationships with customers, acting as a strategic advisor and ensuring proactive service delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the best possible experience.
  • Ensure technicians have necessary resources, including tools, trucks, plans, knowledge, and parts, to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain the technicians' space in order, promoting a productive and efficient work environment.
Your Profile
  • Experience as a technician and in managing employees, with 3-5 years in a similar position.
  • Driver's license to travel to clients, with a vehicle provided for travel needs.
  • Great sense of responsibility and organization, with knowledge of sound, video projection, and lighting equipment at consumer and commercial levels.
  • Basic knowledge of home automation, video conferencing, lighting, and digital audio processing.
  • Knowledge of networking and possession of an ASP construction card (an asset).
  • Relational skills, ability to communicate directly with clients, and excellent customer service.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, with good management of priorities and respect for deadlines and tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
