Retail Store Team Leader

- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in retail is necessary.Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision: Direct the work of staff members, including apprentices, sales workers and design team members.
- Sales Worker Assignment: Assign duties to sales workers.
- Staff Hiring and Training: Hire and train staff or arrange for their training.
- Inventory Management: Order merchandise and authorize return of merchandise.
- Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules.
- Sales: Sell merchandise.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Organizing and Maintaining Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory.
- Staff Supervision and Co-ordination: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers.
- Cash Management: Manage cash.
- Attention to Detail: Requires attention to detail.
- Physical Activity: Combination of sitting, standing and walking is required.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Standing for extended periods is part of the job.
- Accurate: Must be accurate.
- Client Focus: A client focus is required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills are necessary.
