Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Demostat Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies. Key responsibilities include evaluating daily operations, planning and organizing daily operations, reviewing purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy, and overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy
  • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services
  • Manage contracts
  • Review and process claims against suppliers
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Environment:
