Job Description

Pattar Transport is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on equipment and vehicles to minimize downtime.
  • Problem-Solving and Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of logistics staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.
  • Training and Development: Arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and conduct performance reviews to evaluate their performance.
  • Work Coordination: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure that goods and materials are moved efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
