Senior Software Developer - Robotics Integration

Ocado Group is a leading technology company that develops innovative solutions for the grocery industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our robotic pick integration system.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented software developer with a strong background in robotics and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that enable our robots to efficiently pick and pack groceries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions for robotic pick integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware components
  • Develop and maintain software architecture to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Contribute to the development of new features and technologies to enhance our robotic pick integration system

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong background in robotics and artificial intelligence
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, and C++
  • Experience with Linux environments and distributed systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with control systems, real-time systems, and machine learning
  • Knowledge of robotic manipulation, material handling, and industrial automation
  • Experience with data visualization and applied statistics
