Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Half Moon Pizzeria Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
