Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development
    • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans, lectures, and demonstrations to meet the needs of diverse learners.
    • Develop and update training materials, including online curriculum resources.
  • Instructional Delivery
    • Teach students in classrooms, labs, and other learning environments, ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Student Support
    • Supervise students in various settings, adhering to institute and trade guidelines.
    • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including equity groups and special learners.
  • Professional Development

Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Child and Youth Care, Education, or a related discipline.
  • Experience
    • Minimum two years of recent experience working with youth, preferably in an educational or training setting.
  • Skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in using technology, including MS Office Suite and online learning platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Education
    • Ph.D. or Ed.D. in a relevant field.
  • Specialized Skills
    • Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
