Sales Role Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activity and business development within their assigned region. This includes monitoring sales forecasts and targets, ensuring the implementation of sales plans and market initiatives, and managing direct reports to optimize their performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate sales and support teams to drive sales growth.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Ensure staff are properly trained for their roles and provide ongoing training as required.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings and represent the company to the local and industry community.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in a Sales/Distribution environment, preferably with previous industry experience.
- College/University Diploma/Degree with a focus on Business or Sales & Marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
