Job Summary

CN is seeking a highly motivated and experienced recruitment professional to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent to support CN's goal of being North America's leading railroad. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide expertise on market trends and hiring recommendations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Full life-cycle recruitment for requisitions across North America, including job postings, sourcing, and resume review.
  • Develop a deep understanding of CN's talent needs across different teams and groups.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide expertise on market trends and hiring recommendations.
  • Continuously work towards building and maintaining strong talent pipelines for multiple, complex searches by leveraging numerous platforms.
  • Conduct initial conversations with potential candidates to evaluate qualifications and provide feedback and recommendations on next steps.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience in transportation or a trades-based environment (high volume).
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with ATS and/or Recruitment Software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of success in talent acquisition with strong recruitment skills.
Working Conditions

The role has standard working conditions and will currently be eligible to participate in our flexible work from home policy. The position is expected to be in the office 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays). Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress.
