About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Energy Investment Analyst to join our Listed Sustainable Energies team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the identification, evaluation, and analysis of public energy opportunities across traditional and renewable energy sectors.

The ideal candidate will have up to three years of relevant experience in the energy and renewables sector, with a strong understanding of asset management, valuation, investment banking, equity research, or similar. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics is required, and a CPA, CFA, or CFA Candidate certification would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze listed energy opportunities, including power and renewables, energy midstream, commodities and alternative fuels, and distributed energy and services.
  • Compile industry, market, and asset-level data and financial information to support investment decisions.
  • Benchmark investment performance and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with teams in credit, public equities, and other business areas to drive strategic growth.
Requirements:
  • Up to three years of relevant work experience in the energy and renewables sector.
  • Relevant experience may include asset management, valuation, investment banking, equity research, or similar.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills (DCF and financial modeling).
  • Knowledge of the listed energy sector, including key subsectors such as power and renewables, energy midstream, commodities and alternative fuels, and distributed energy and services.
  • Solid understanding of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and other financial data portals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build working relationships internally and externally.
What We Offer
