About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Meadow Berry Farms. As a key member of our farm team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful harvesting of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Assist in the planning and execution of crop harvesting, including the selection of suitable equipment and techniques.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including fruit harvesters and combine harvesters.
  • Crop Handling: Clean and prepare crops for market, including blueberries, field berries, raspberries, and strawberries.
  • Task Management: Assist in the management of tasks, including planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Site Environment: Fast-paced environment with exposure to odours and dusty conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
