About the Role

The HACCP Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position will work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor to maintain the HACCP system, SQF certification, and Food Safety & Quality training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve HACCP plans, Prerequisite Programs, and Manual of Operations
  • Document control of HACCP and Quality related documentation
  • Verify and coordinate corrective actions for all HACCP documents
  • Support the production department with process improvement projects
  • Lead annual quality and food safety training
  • Complete annual CCP training, HACCP & GMP refresher training, and new hire quality training
  • Perform laboratory purchases and maintaining of the inventory

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Microbiology, or a related science
  • Minimum 1-3 years of related industry experience
  • HACCP training; SQF Practitioner
  • Auditing experience; SQF experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
