Equipment Service Technician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Service Technician Assistant to join our team at Enns Brothers, a proud John Deere dealership in Manitoba. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for agriculture and mechanical aptitude to develop their skills in the repair of outdoor power equipment.
Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of this role is to assist senior technicians in performing basic service tasks, including removal, disassembly, and reconditioning of components. You will also be required to maintain the condition of service vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on outdoor power equipment
- Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
This position offers an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
