We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Equinox in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on club equipment and facilities, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of fitness equipment and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the club and exercise equipment are clean and well-maintained, providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
  • Maintain and uphold safety and quality standards, working closely with all departments to ensure proper functioning of facility equipment.
  • Ensure the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentable, and clean the locker room, stock locker room consumables, and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
  • Receive and store deliveries, and assist with special events.

Requirements

  • Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Ability to service athletic equipment, with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Must be comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment, with own set of tools being an asset.
  • Ability to lift 50Lbs.
