Job Summary

The Marketing Director for Fraud Prevention will be responsible for steering anti-scam and fraud awareness and education efforts, as well as creating linkages between other CBA initiatives, including financial literacy and stakeholder education.

This role will require a strong understanding of the banking sector and the ability to build collaboration and synergies with a range of partners and stakeholders to promote anti-scam and fraud awareness and protect Canadians and the Canadian economy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic approach to increasing Canadians' awareness of how to prevent, respond, and educate themselves about scams and fraud.
  • Collaborate with the CBA team and stakeholders from diverse sectors to drive strategy and execution on education and awareness efforts.
  • Bring a blend of marketing, communications, and education savvy to campaign work, with a focus on creating effective and engaging content.
  • Work with the Strategy, Marketing & Communications team to evolve and amplify antiscam and fraud prevention messages in the CBA's financial literacy efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to promote and increase reporting and enforcement of scams and fraud, working with law enforcement and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a communications/marketing function, with a strong track record in cross-sector collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multichannel campaigns aimed at diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing matrixed projects and leading public awareness and educational initiatives.
  • Strong relationship management skills, leadership ability, and team management experience.
  • Excellent writing skills and social media savvy, with experience designing and executing digital communications strategies.
