Senior Data Architect

S.i. Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to provide expert tactical advice on data and analytics, data management, master data, enterprise data warehouse, Power BI, and information governance.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Alternative Solutions: Assess and recommend alternative technology solutions to address business issues and improve data management.
- Analyze Functional Requirements: Map out information, procedures, and decision flows to ensure seamless data integration and analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Attend stakeholder meetings and prepare relevant documentation to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Documentation and Security: Securely maintain all documentation and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Strategic Recommendations: Contribute to discussion documents, proposals, reports, and briefing materials, and make presentations to senior management.
- Interface Documentation: Document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application sub-systems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
- Technical Design: Define input/output sources, plan for technical design phase, and obtain system proposal approval.
- Data Architecture Design: Design, implement, improve, and document the next-gen data and analytic architecture at S.i. Systems, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse and other D&A components.
- Technical Architectures: Develop technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to meet business and application needs.
- Integration and Standards: Ensure integration of all technology solutions and identify system-specific standards for data and analytics development, documentation, testing, and application sub-systems.
- Policies and Requirements: Identify and document solution-driving policies and requirements.
- Collaboration and Monitoring: Collaborate with Business and IM/IT teams to implement the D&A architecture and its components, and monitor industry trends to align solutions with government and industry technology directions.
- Business Intelligence and Information Architecture: Implement Business Intelligence development standards and best practices, and advise on optimizing Information Architecture, Metadata, Reference, and Master Data Modelling.
- Reporting and Data Quality: Advise on standardization techniques for enterprise reporting initiatives and data quality solution outputs.
- Project Risk and Lessons Learned: Provide expertise in identifying project risks, issues, challenges, and lessons learned from previous Data and analytics, Data Management, Information Governance, and Master Data Management projects.
- Tactical Advice and Leadership: Provide tactical advice on Data and analytics, Data Management, Master Data, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Power BI, and Information Governance, and lead the data and analytic team in implementing next-gen data and analytic capacities.
- Training and Support: Provide support to employees of the data management team and develop training for delivery to other employees in the organization.
