As an Assistant Team Lead, you will play a key role in the success of our resort operations, working closely with the Manager and Team Lead to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination, planning, and organization of special events, including weddings, conferences, and group functions.
  • Contribute to administrative functions, including inventory management, ordering, and reporting.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of quality food, service, and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain effective communications with restaurant, department, and resort teams.
  • Assist the Manager and Team Lead in training, coaching, and building a successful and enthusiastic team of employees.
  • Ensure all restaurant processes are carried out accurately, including cash handling, closing, and opening procedures.
  • Work flexible shifts with varying hours, primarily working part-time between 24 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Previous resort restaurant supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of food and service standards.
  • Serving it Right Certificate.
  • Previous customer service and supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience with cash handling and administration.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Point-of-Sale software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects.
  • Ability to withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions in a mountain environment.
