About the Role:

TAVARES MASONRY LTD. is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build structures that are safe, durable, and aesthetically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to build structures
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
