Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a culture of excellence.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Manage Schedules and Workloads: Create and manage schedules to ensure that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand, and that workloads are balanced and manageable.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
