Job Summary

Nijjar Rebar & Stucco Ltd is seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms. You will also read blueprints, perform job-site calculations, and signal crane operators to position units according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Perform job-site calculations and signal crane operators
  • Align, weld, or bolt units in place
  • Inspect and test structures and equipment for deterioration or defects
Work Environment

As an Ironworker, you will work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites. You will be exposed to heights, noise, and confined spaces. You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in ironworking
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads
