Job Summary:

The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Personnel to join our Operations Department in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing security services to MMF buildings and parking lots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control access to the building and direct visitors to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor computerized security camera systems and enforce all regulations and rules of the building.
  • Perform security checks and patrol assigned areas to prevent vandalism, theft, and safety risks.
  • Escort staff and visitors after regular office hours and transport materials and equipment as needed.
  • Prepare incident reports and other reports as requested.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Diploma.
  • Recognized security training certification qualifying for Canadian General Standard for Uniformed Security Guards.
  • Experience in providing security services for an office building.
  • Basic computer skills and training.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of work materials.
  • Knowledge of Red River Métis culture and MMF programs and services is an asset.
