Position Overview

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for a tenure track position in Computer Science at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Computer Science and demonstrated potential for developing an independent, externally funded research program, producing high-quality research, and developing collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Computer Science and other fundamental areas at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including courses in the graduate certificate program.• Supervise research students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.• Develop and maintain an active research program with a focus in one of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Networks and Security, Quantum Computation, and Human Computer Interaction.
