TD Wealth seeks an experienced Financial Planner to join its team in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Estimated Salary: $62,500 - $72,500 CAD per year
About the Role:
The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for financial planning and be driven to help clients reach their financial and life goals. They will have excellent people and problem-solving skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and understand clients' financial needs and goals through comprehensive reviews and analysis.
- Provide tailored investment solutions and financial advice to meet clients' objectives.
- Conduct regular reporting and assessments to ensure programs are effective and efficient.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and department goals while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide informed guidance to clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow business development opportunities and expand client relationships.
Requirements:
- University degree (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services managing client relationships and providing financial advice (preferred)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within 3 years of starting the role
- CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) completion within the first 90 days
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) certification
