Job Overview

Burgess Plumbing Heating & Electrical Co. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Master Plumber to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in plumbing from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Criminal record check and drug test required.
Benefits
  • $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Dental plan and health care plan.
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
  • 32 hours per week, permanent position.
