Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Analyst to join our growing Naval Sonar Systems business area. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving sonar system innovation, collaborating closely with software and SIV&V teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing system and subsystem requirements
  • Conducting requirements analysis and flow-down activities
  • Identifying and resolving requirement issues
  • Developing and managing system, subsystem, and software design
  • Supporting and overseeing suppliers responsible for subsystems
  • Ensuring optimum system design through collaboration with specialty engineering disciplines
  • Supporting software implementation and integration
  • Managing ship installation design and supporting installation, integration, and acceptance
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant systems engineering experience with complex electronic systems or equivalent education/experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Experience with requirements development, system design, requirements management tools, and systems engineering processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct analysis leading to good conclusions
  • Leadership ability and enthusiasm for learning and taking ownership of work
  • Canadian Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Assessment eligibility
