We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our team at DMC Recruitment. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to design, construction document production, and coordination with our Client in the Architecture & Design industry.

The role can be based in one of our three studios and offers flexibility on relocation. We are looking for a well-rounded, comprehensive candidate with extensive experience drafting detailed drawings across all project phases.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of construction detailing, working drawings, and contract administration, as well as a solid understanding of building envelope systems, ideally for institutional projects.

We require the ability to lead and mentor a project team, coordinating with consultants, and have expertise in local building codes and construction methods.

Key qualifications include:

  • A degree or diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Canada
  • Experience working in the institutional, commercial, educational, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors throughout British Columbia
  • Self-motivated, with a curious technical aptitude and a keen design sense
  • Strong communication skills for a collaborative, team-focused work environment
  • Proficient technical skills in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and/or Enscape
