Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As an Automotive Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing data to managers, analyzing and implementing automotive processes and procedures, and promoting safety and compliance in our automotive facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with managers to provide data and analyze automotive processes and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain automotive processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and laws.
  • Assist the management team in preparing repair orders and contacting external vendors as needed to obtain approval and services.
  • Verify that external vendors comply with contractual agreements, including maintaining current licenses and insurance.
  • Reconcile invoices to ensure that funds and payments are allocated appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Help the management team monitor key expense indicators (e.g., fuel, parts, tires, labor hours, etc.) to identify and implement cost reduction strategies and provide feedback to the appropriate levels of the organization.
  • Compare prices between vendors to control procurement and repair costs.
  • Verify the fuel and oil system to ensure vehicles receive necessary repairs and maintenance. Track failures and component replacements to identify and respond to equipment failure trends.
  • Perform periodic physical inventory audits to validate inventory status. Contact Feeder or Package Centers to provide updates on developments to ensure service commitments are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent - preferred
  • Experience with invoice reconciliation - preferred
  • Experience with audit processes - preferred
