About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Pre-Board Screening Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen travellers and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area
  • Control access to restricted areas and respond to alarms and report any events or violations
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport

Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Located near St. John's or willing to relocate before starting
