Your expertise will be essential in evaluating patients' physical and mental health, prescribing and administering medications and treatments, and providing counseling and support on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and develop treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on health and lifestyle issues.
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
