About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Cold Lake. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent written communication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
  • Training and Benefits: Will train, dental plan, health care plan, permanent employment, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language.
