Chair of Business and Academic Leadership

At Humber College, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Business Program Chair. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the academic and administrative affairs of our Business program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a vision for the program that ensures relevancy, competitiveness, and currency in the field of study.
- Lead the curriculum development and revision process, ensuring alignment with industry needs and academic standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the program's content remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Manage the program's budget, monitoring expenditures and maintaining records to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Lead the processes related to cyclical evaluation of the program and external registration requirements.
- Responsible for initiatives that support student engagement and success, and contribute to resolving complex student matters.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in Business or a closely related field.
- Doctorate in the field of Business preferred.
- Industry or professional work experience specifically related to the field of Business.
- 5 – 9 years of extensive postsecondary experience, including teaching, scholarly work, coordination, and administration.
